We strive to provide a voice for dogs in need through education and engaging the hearts of our communities in an effort to solve our nation’s homeless dog crisis.

How We Are Different
Training.
96% of dogs returned to shelters never received obedience training. This staggering number inspired founder Kaelin Munkelwitz to form a rescue organization based upon training and education for our adopters. Training sessions are provided for every foster dog and dogs with more severe behavioral issues will be sent to a board & train program before being placed in a foster home.
Owner Education.
We go the extra mile to set dogs and adopters up for success. Our number one goal is to place dogs in their permanent. forever home. Educating our adopters on how to train their new furry friend and establishing clear expectations of having a dog are crucial for creating successful adoptions. We match adopters with each dog’s temperament and their likelihood to thrive when placed in the adopter’s home.
Ongoing Support.
All Things Pups Rescue is different than many other rescues because we equip adopters with ongoing tools and education needed to have a better understanding of their dog’s needs. Our training partner All Things Pups Dog Training is available to help our adopters develop a strong relationship with their dogs and understand how to manage/fix behavioral issues through positive reinforcement training so that we can reduce the amount of dogs returned to back to shelters or rescues.
